A ferry service is running a revised timetable on a day when thousands of festival-goers are expected to use it.

Red Funnel vehicle ferries from East Cowes will leave one hour later than the time booked, starting with the sailing to Southampton at 12:30 BST.

The ferry firm said the departure times had changed, external because its freight ferry, Red Kestrel, is out of service.

Thousands of people are due to return from the Isle of Wight Festival throughout Monday.
