A woman has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence following a pro-Palestinian protest in central London.

Marieha Hussain, 37, of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire was charged by postal requisition, after police posted a photograph in November on social media of a woman holding a placard.

The Metropolitan Police previously said the woman in the image was being sought in relation to a hate crime.

Ms Hussain is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on 26 June.
