More arrests in city centre drugs supply operation

Three people been arrested in connection with drug offences in Bradford city centre

A man and a woman will appear in court in connection with drugs offences in Bradford city centre.

Shaun Brockhill, 46, of Birch Lane, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Ellie West, 22, of Rooley Lane, has been charged with possession of Class A drug cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of a weapon for discharge of noxious liquid.

Both have been remanded to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on 21 June. A second woman, 22, has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

They were detained after numerous other arrests for drug supply in Bradford since 17 June.

West Yorkshire Police said the operation was initiated as a direct response to concerns raised by Bradford residents and that enquiries remain ongoing.
