Free haircuts offered to homeless clients

A team of hairdressers have set up a free cuts for homeless people service.
The service takes place once a month from The Living Room - a community hub in Hereford city centre.
The project is part of a national campaign called 'HAIRCUTS 4 HOMELESS', a registered charity set up by veteran hairdresser Stewart Roberts.
Reece Davies is just one person who uses the scheme and said the haircuts help him feel fresh and a lot better in himself.
Speaking to BBC Hereford & Worcester he explained how he had grown up in care in Cardiff before spending time in jail.
He works as a self employed gardener in Leominster and said the free haircuts are a big part in getting his life back on track.
"I have had to sort my life out, which is why I am getting help from these guys," he said, before adding: "Having my hair cut makes me feel better and makes me feel fresh."
Hairdresser Becky Powell said the work they do helps their clients be themselves again.
"When I did my first ever one it was really eye opening to see how many people are homeless and also in different stages of being homeless," she said.
Mel Groves, CEO of The Living Room, said the campaign is all about making a start on changing people's lives.
"It is just that confidence and feeling that, that will give you in yourself can just change their whole day," she said.
"And that might be the day they turn their life around."
