Improvements to the oldest park in a West Sussex town have been unveiled.
New attractions and events have also been announced for Goffs Park in Crawley.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of a tree trail, sensory garden, blossom trail and the reopening of the light railway.
A Crawley Borough Council (CBC) spokesperson said the changes would "rejuvenate Goffs Park and make it an even better place to visit".
The tree trail will be launched on Saturday, highlighting 20 different trees of interest.
Goffs Park Light Railway opens for the season on Easter Sunday.
It will have additional fencing around the perimeter of the track to reflect the increased use of the park and provide separation between the sports areas and railway users.
A sensory garden will be planted at the end of the summer with a range of brightly coloured, fragrant and textured plants to attract wildlife.
Planting of additional trees is planned for the autumn.
Councillor Chris Mullins, cabinet member for leisure and culture at CBC, said: “Working with our partners in the park, we’re committed to investing in its future and ensuring it remains a great place to visit for generations to come.”
