Ferry company postpones Guernsey ship trial

A berthing trial for a Brittany Ferries vessel in Guernsey has been postponed due to the weather.
The trial for the vessel Barfleur was scheduled to take place in St Peter Port at about 16:00 BST on Tuesday.
Guernsey Ports said it would now be rescheduled to another date.
It said the Guernsey trial, when rescheduled, would not affect normal ferry services.

The Barfleur is is 158m (518ft) long and capable of carrying 1,212 passengers.
The ship, usually based in Poole, had a successful trial in Jersey last month.
