Long delays after two morning crashes

Drivers faced long delays after two crashes within an hour in Shropshire.
One person was taken to hospital, after a car came to rest on its side near Telford on the M54, between Junction 4 and 3 eastbound, at about 07:10 BST.
A collision happened in Shrewsbury on the A5 near the Emstrey roundabout, which police believed involved five vehicles.
Motorists took two hours to go from the town to Shifnal.
About two hours after the M54 crash, National Highways West Midlands said all lanes had reopened on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 4 for Shifnal and 3 for Cosford/Albrighton.
Earlier, one of the two lanes had been closed "for recovery and barrier damage", it stated on X, external.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances had been at the scene.
West Mercia Police, which was called to the A5 collision at 07:45, stated it did not appear that anyone had been injured.
One lane was closed between the Emstrey and Preston islands to allow the road to be cleared.
