A road in Guernsey will be closed for 72 hours while maintenance work is carried out.

Guernsey Electricity said the section of Bulwer Avenue between the Longue Hougue junction and the Norman Piette store in St Sampson will be shut from 17:00 BST on Thursday until the same time on Sunday.

The company said the closure had been set up for them, Guernsey Water and telecommunications firm Sure to connect the utilities to a new building on the Bulwer Avenue development site.

Guernsey Electricity said the roadworks would be completed as quickly as possible and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
