Two homes and a food takeaway were damaged in a fire.
Emergency services were called to Murray Street in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire just before 18:00 BST.
One person suffered the effects of smoke inhalation and minor burns, said Mid and West Wales Fire Service.
The cause is unknown.
