Weather forecasters say it is “likely” that some homes and businesses will be flooded due to heavy rain.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, external for the East of England from 21:00 BST on Thursday until 20:00 on Friday.

Heavy rain is expected, as well as gusts of more than 40mph (64km/h).

Disruption to roads and public transport is likely with journeys taking longer than normal, according to the Met Office.
