The University of Wolverhampton has confirmed the dates of five graduation ceremonies.

Its class of 2023, made up of 1,100 students, will celebrate their student achievements on 18 and 19 March.

Ceremonies will take place at the newly renamed University of Wolverhampton at The Halls in the city centre.

Bosses announced last week they had agreed the naming rights for the music venue, which has hosted artists like Blur, McFly and Robert Plant since reopening in May last year.

“Our graduation ceremonies mark a major milestone in the lives of our students," said vice-chancellor Prof Ebrahim Adia.

"Every one of our graduates along with all of those who have helped them along the path to this moment should feel rightly proud.”

There are about 145,000 University of Wolverhampton graduates in 130 countries across the world, the university said.
