Murder case launched after man, 60, dies in crash

A murder investigation has been launched after a 60-year-old man was killed after being hit by a vehicle which failed to stop.
The crash took place at about 23:35 GMT on Friday at Myton Way, in Ingleby Barwick, in Stockton-on-Tees.
The 60-year-old victim died at the scene and two other people were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Cleveland Police said detectives are appealing for information about a white van seen in the area at the time.
Myton Way remains closed from the Rings up to Queen Elizabeth Way while officers continue to investigate.
