Cyclist seriously injured in Hastings crash

A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a collision with a car in East Sussex.
The crash, involving a black Audi AQ, happened on the A21 in Westfield, near Hastings, close to the junction with Westfield Lane, just before 09:00 BST on Saturday.
The cyclist, a local man aged in his 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance, Sussex Police said.
No other injuries were reported.
Officers appealed for witness and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact the force.
