Diver dies after being rescued from sea
A man in his 50s was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead

A man has died following a rescue operation off the Sussex coast.
Police said they were called by HM Coastguard to east Brighton following reports a diver had been rescued from the sea.
The coastguard helicopter was also deployed.
Sussex Police confirmed a man in his 50s was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead. The next of kin have been informed.
