Smoke alert to households after large barn fire

Crews from Bude, Launceston and Liskeard were helping crews from Devon deal with the fire

Firefighters have advised people to keep their windows and doors shut after a large barn fire.

Crews were called to Pyworthy in Devon after the alert at 03:17 GMT.

"We are advising the public near the area, to keep your windows and doors closed at this time, due to the smoke plume," said Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
