Motorway lanes blocked after lorry crash

Essex Police said it received reports of a collision between a lorry and car at about 07:15 GMT

Three lanes of the M25 were closed while police dealt with the aftermath of a collision between a lorry and a car.

Essex Police said it was called at 07:15 GMT after the incident occurred on the anti-clockwise stretch between junction 28 at Brook Street near Brentwood and junction 27 for the M11.

There was a 90-minute delay for traffic and about eight miles (13km) of congestion.

At 10:04, National Highways said all lanes had reopened.
