Those lost or seriously injured on Hull's roads are to be remembered at a memorial service.
It will be the 25th annual service to be held in the city, and will take place on Sunday at 14:30 GMT at St Mary's Church, Lowgate.
The service marks the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, which is on the third Sunday of November every year.
Lord Mayor, Councillor Cheryl Payne will be reading a poem and said she hoped "bringing people together who have these shared tragedies can in some way be a help to them".
The global remembrance day commemorates everyone killed and seriously injured on roads, and acknowledges victims, families and communities.
The service will be led by Reverend Tony Brookes, chaplain at Hull Hospitals, and attended by Councillor Mark Ieronimo, portfolio holder for transport and infrastructure at Hull City Council.
Ieronimo said: "Every life lost on our roads is a tragedy, which is why it is so important that we do everything we can to ensure the roads are safe for everyone."
He said the service would act as a "powerful message to all road users to take extra care".
