Woman, 78, dies after being hit by car

A 78-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a car in Guernsey.
Police said the car hit the pedestrian at 16:30 GMT on 5 March in the area of the Rue des Landes, Forest.
Officers said inquiries were continuing and the woman's family were being supported by specialist officers.
"Our condolences go out to the family and friends during this incredibly difficult and tragic time," said a police spokesperson.
