Man in court over disturbance on Easyjet flight

A man has appeared in court over a disturbance on an Easyjet flight from Luton to Glasgow Airport on Sunday.
Abhay Nayak, 41 was arrested and charged after the flight landed at about 08:20 on Sunday morning.
Mr Nayak, of Luton, entered no plea at Paisley Sheriff Court over charges of assault and endangering the safety of an aircraft.
Counter-terror police had initially assessed video footage of the incident. Mr Nayak is not facing terrorism charges.
A video shared online showed a man on the aircraft who appears to shout "death to America, death to Trump" and "Allahu Akbar" - an Arabic phrase meaning "God is greatest".
Two men then tackle him and pin him to the floor of the plane.
Mr Nayak was remanded in custody to appear in court again next week.
