A police investigation has been launched after a 57ft narrowboat was stolen.

The lengthy vessel, which has blue tarpaulin covering its entrance, vanished from the Little Ouse river, in Lakenheath.

Police officers in Bury St Edmunds believed the houseboat was taken at some point between 2 and 4 of August.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Coordination Centre at Suffolk Police, quoting reference 37/44463/24.
