Four people were injured in a five-vehicle collision that destroyed a lamppost on a city road during rush hour, police confirmed.
Cambridgeshire Police, Fire and Rescue services and ambulances raced to the Stanground turning on the Frank Perkins Parkway in Peterborough at 09:00 BST on Thursday.
Firefighters said they helped four casualties from their vehicles.
Police confirmed a Highways team removed a lamppost that was partially blocking the road.
Officers also said the collision caused long delays to morning rush hour traffic. The road was re-opened at 12:15.
