Boy, 12, injured in e-scooter crash

A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a crash involving an e-scooter.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary received reports that a boy had been involved in a crash involving e-scooter in Landseer Close, Basingstoke, between 14:00 BST and 15:30 on Saturday.
The e-scooter rider did not stop at the scene and was described as a male, aged in his late teens and wearing a grey hoodie and a black face covering, the force said.
The boy suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has information is urged to contact police.
