Person taken to hospital after industrial incident

The person was airlifted to hospital in Sheffield following an incident near Blaxton

A person has been airlifted to hospital after an industrial incident in a Doncaster village, Yorkshire Ambulance Service has said.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident in the Blaxton area, reportedly near the B1396 road, at about 12:40 GMT.

A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said two air ambulances were sent to the scene.

One person was taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield for treatment, they added.
