A 20-year-old man has died after crashing his car into a tree.

Emergency crews were called to Manor Way in Halesowen just before 20:00 GMT on Monday, West Midlands Police said.

The force added the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, after his black Renault Clio struck the tree.

An eastbound section of Manor Way, between the roundabout with Grange Road and the roundabout with Hagley Road, was closed until Tuesday mid-morning and has now re-opened.

The force has asked anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the crash to get in touch.
