Mike Nesbitt confirms he will become Ulster Unionist leader

Mike Nesbitt confirms he will again lead the Ulster Unionist Party - subject to ratification next month - seven years on from stepping down from the role.

Mr Nesbitt paid tribute to former leader Doug Beattie and said he was looking forward to working with him in the future.

He added that he did not believe the party was badly split, but said it should not "wash its dirty linen" in public.
