Three men and teen charged in fraud investigation

Four people have been charged in connection with two burglaries in Bradford

Three men and a teenage boy have been charged in connection with a fraud investigation in Bradford.

The charges followed two burglaries in Shipley and Baildon, according to West Yorkshire Police.

One of the men faced several charges, including fraud by abuse of position and burglary, while another faced a charge of money laundering, a force spokesperson said.

All four were due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, they added.

Police said a 30-year-old man from Bradford had been charged with two counts of fraud by abuse of position, theft in dwelling, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man from Rotherham faced a charge of money laundering.

Another 30-year-old man from Bradford had been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and perverting the course of justice , while a 17-year-old boy was charged with fraud by false representation and burglary, officers said.
