Ten-year-old sexually assaulted by another child

The incident took place at Penygaer playing fields in Llanelli on Wednesday

A 10-year-old was sexually abused by another child at a playing field, police have said.

Officers were called after a report of sexual touching of a 10-year-old at Penygaer playing fields in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, at 21:40 BST on Wednesday.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the suspect was also believed to be a child and it was trying to identify them.

The force said its investigation was ongoing and urged people to be "mindful of what they are sharing online".
