Date set for missing man murder trial

A trial date has been set for two 20 year olds accused of being involved in the death of a man who went missing after driving from Scotland to England.
Paul Taylor, 56, from Annan, was last seen in Carlisle on 17 October and his car was later found abandoned. His remains were found in May.
One man has been charged with his murder and the other is accused of assisting an offender.
Appearing at Carlisle Crown Court, the murder accused was remanded and the other defendant was bailed.
The trial date has been set for 1 October at the same court.
