Man's body found on beach 'unexplained'

The body of a man has been discovered on a beach on Dorset's Jurassic Coast.

Police, ambulance crews and the coastguard were called to Chapman's Pool, Worth Matravers, near Swanage on Sunday shortly after 11:30 GMT.

An area of the horseshoe-shaped cove was cordoned off while officers recovered the body from the scene.

Dorset Police said officers were working to establish the identity and circumstances of the man's death, which was currently being treated as "unexplained".
