Bomb hoax accused appears in court

A 25-year-old man has appeared in court charged with making hoax calls to West Yorkshire Police.
Thomas Cannon, of Hillam Lane in Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court charged with a bomb hoax and intentionally/recklessly causing a public nuisance.
No pleas were entered during the brief hearing.
The case has been referred to Leeds Crown Court, where Mr Cannon will appear again on 9 January.
