Six arrested after man stabbed in Stanwell

Six people have been arrested following a stabbing in Stanwell, Surrey Police has said.

The force said they were called to Elizabethan Way just after 15:00 GMT on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition, police said.

The six people arrested were taken into custody and police believe there was "no wider risk to the public".

Anyone with any information should contact Surrey Police, the force said.
