Cancellations to trains between Reading and London

Passengers are being encouraged to avoid travelling between Reading and London Padington
- Published
Rail users are being told to avoid travelling between Reading and London Paddington as all trains have been cancelled.
Great Western Railway (GWR) said a fault with the overhead line equipment meant all lines were blocked.
It apologised for the disruption and said engineers were working hard to resolve the issue.
Tickets will be accepted on South Western Railway services between Reading and London Waterloo and Chiltern Railway services between London Marylebone and Oxford.
GWR added that tickets will be valid for travel on GWR services on Friday and it informed customers that if they have been affected by the disruption then they will be entitled to compensation.
