A man has been charged with the murder of his wife in south London, the Met Police has said.
Hai Van Nguyen, 41, was charged on Monday with killing his wife, Hien Thi Vu, 45, at their home in Hatfield Close, Lewisham.
The London Ambulance alerted police to a seriously injured woman in Hatfield Close at 06:41 BST on Sunday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, at 06:52, Mr Nguyen self-presented at Lewisham Police Station in connection to the incident. He was arrested and charged with murder.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place in due course, the Met Police said.
Mr Nguyen was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday afternoon.
