Police are appealing for witnesses after a man reportedly drove his car erratically towards a motorcyclist in Kent.
A man in his 30s was calling for help with his broken-down motorcycle in Honey Hill, in Blean, near Canterbury, when a silver Ford Fiesta was driven towards him in an aggressive manner, police said.
The car continued to be driven in an "erratic fashion" and collided with a bush before it again headed towards the motorcyclist, who was uninjured, the force added.
A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences including assault and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
The incident happened at about 17:50 BST on 30 August.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the attempted assault, specifically a man who parked his car in front of the victim to protect him.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact the force.
