Exercise group encourages mums to get active

A exercise programme in Jersey is providing childcare support so new mothers are able to train.
The Mum to 5km was set up with funding from Jersey Sport to help women get active after giving birth.
The course provides childcare support so the children are looked after while their mothers train.
Participant Lisa Williamson said the 12-week training programme was a "game-changer" for her.
Organisers said they worked with the run club Rock and Road Runners and Jersey CrossFit Gym to set it up.
Ms Williamson said it had "been a nightmare" to find somewhere to train since having her baby.
"I think the biggest barrier to mums is anxiety about entering a gym but doing it in a group has been amazing," she said.
She said the programme was "an absolute game-changer and it feels such a safe and supportive environment".
Source of support
Sarah Hickling, who started the programme, has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 10 years.
She said running was a major source of support for her after having her two children but there were not many places to exercise with children.
"There will be three more projects after this one thanks to the money from Jersey Sport so that will take us through to 2026," she said.
David Kennedy, from Jersey Sport, said he was pleased with the success the new initiative.
He said it was a strong application for funding "because everyone knows how difficult life becomes when people become new parents".
