A "wide range" of organisations are set to offer free advice for people needing guidance over money, health and safety matters.
Help at the Hub, at Dovecotes TMO in Pendeford, Wolverhampton, on 5 December has been organised by the city council's public protection scams team.
Residents with concerns will be able to speak to advisors from organisations including the Act on Energy charity, Alzheimer's Society and Barclays.
The city council said this time of year "can be a particularly challenging one for many" and it wanted to ensure "we reach as many people as possible in our local communities".
While there is no need to book an appointment, people should be prepared to wait if the event, which begins at 11:00 GMT, gets busy.
Wolverhampton City Credit Union, City of Wolverhampton College, Wolves Foundation and Wolverhampton Homes are also among those due to attend.
The council's public protection scams team will hand out free awareness and prevention packs.
Bhupinder Gakhal, cabinet member for resident services, said: "Residents can just pop along during the day and find advice on matters ranging from health and education support to money and household advice."
