Police have warned teenagers officers are to patrol a beach near St Austell after reports of anti-social behaviour.
Following a neighbourhood meeting about disorder on the beach at Carlyon Bay, St Austell Police said there would be targeted patrols by officers and security staff.
They said security officers would check bags and confiscate alcohol from young people thought to be under 18 years old.
After being told parents had been seen in the car park giving their children alcohol, police asked them to "act responsibly and support the police" to keep the beach "enjoyable and safe" for all.
Police said officers would communicate with local secondary schools about possible large gatherings of young people on the beach.
They said any individuals identified to be engaging in anti-social behaviour, disorder or criminality would be banned from the site.
The beach is privately owned so the landlord has the legal right to do this, they explained.
If a person breached a ban the landlord could take them to civil court for trespass, they added.
