Hospital worker accused of patient sex assaults

A healthcare assistant accused of sexually assaulting two patients has appeared in court.

Twinkle Parappully worked at Southend Hospital in Essex when the alleged offences took place in October 2024 and September 2025.

The 46-year-old, of Silverdale Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, was charged with sexually assaulting a woman on two occasions and a man.

He appeared at Southend Magistrates' Court on Monday and is due to appear again at Basildon Crown Court on 24 October.

Mr Parapully has been banned from entering the hospital while on bail.
