Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested following a series of suspected arsons across a town, a fire service said.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said Northamptonshire Police arrested the teenagers on suspicion of arson following incidents in Corby.

The fires took place at The Great Oakley estate, in a field and by a set of woods adjacent to Uppingham Road, it said.

The service added that it was called at about 21:00 BST on Thursday to a field fire in the town.
