Police appeal after motorcyclist dies in crash

A motorcyclist has died after a collision involving three cars on the A47 near Peterborough.
The crash happened at about 14:00 BST on Monday, on the eastbound carriageway of the Soke Parkway near Bretton.
Cambridgeshire Police said the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Bourne in Lincolnshire, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital but later died of his injuries.
The A47 was shut for several hours in both directions.
The police said the collision involved a grey Peugeot 3008, a black Audi A6, a grey Fiat 500 and an orange Superduke R motorcycle.
The drivers and passengers of the cars remained at the scene and were uninjured, they said.
