A lorry trailer, a mobile home and several outbuildings have been wrecked in a blaze in Dorset.

A column of thick smoke could be seen for miles around Lewell, east of Dorchester, on Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called at about 16:40 BST and requested back-up when they saw the smoke.

The fire had also spread to surrounding vegetation and crews remained on scene damping down late into the evening.
