Three charged with arson over Grimsby car fires

Three men have been charged over a fire that destroyed five vehicles in Grimsby in the early hours of Tuesday.

Humberside Police were called to reports of suspected arson on Barmouth Drive at about 00:40 BST.

Jason Gladding, 35, of Columbus Way in Grimsby; Gary Mills, 41, of Beeson Street in Grimsby; and Matthew Somerfield, 39, of no fixed abode, have all been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

The three men appeared at Grimsby Magistrates' Court on Friday. They are due to appear at Grimsby Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 17 November.
