Man in court after drugs worth £300,000 seized in Aberdeen

A man has appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of more than £300,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of £322,500 was recovered from a property in Concraig Park on Friday.

Saimon Novikas, 32, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to face two drugs charges, as well as an allegation under the Electricity Act.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
