Which London Post Office branches are at risk?
- Published
Up to 32 Post Office branches across London could close as part of a national shake-up aimed at restructuring the taxpayer-owned business.
The capital could see more closures than any other region, making up about 28% of the 115 stores earmarked branches across the UK.
These are part of the Post Office's wholly-owned branches - not those run as a franchise by sub-postmasters.
It is understood its leadership is looking for alternative franchise arrangements where an operator like the retailer WHSmith or another third party could take on the branches.
