Man shot dead in Queen's Park

A man has been shot dead on a residential street in central London.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was found with gunshot injuries on Bravington Road in Queen's Park, Westminster.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service tried to treat him but he was declared dead at the scene on Wednesday night, just before midnight. The man's next of kin have been informed.

The Metropolitan Police has begun a murder investigation.

A crime scene and road closures remain in place and no arrests have been made.

The Met has asked for people living near the scene to check their doorbell or dashcams for footage that could be important.
