Appeal after motorcyclist dies in collision

A motorcyclist has died after a collision in Worcestershire on Friday night.

West Mercia Police said the collision involved a Yamaha XJR1300 motorbike on the A451 Minster Road heading away from Stourport.

Police, fire, ambulance and air ambulance all attended the incident but the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The police force is now appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage, or witnessed the motorbike around the time, to get in touch with the force, by contacting sciusouth@westmercia.police.uk and quoting 431_i of Friday 12 September.
