The A11 has fully reopened

A lane has now reopened on the A11 after cooking oil leaked across four miles (6.4km) of the road at the weekend.

Highways workers spent about eight hours cleaning up on Saturday night after the incident between Attleborough and Larling, Norfolk, at about 18:30 BST.

National Highways said the spillage was cleared by 02:00 on Sunday.

In a statement on X, external it added that all emergency resurfacing had now been completed.
