Developers have revealed plans to build almost 100 new homes on land to the north of a city.

United Living and Castles and Coasts have submitted plans to Cumberland Council for 91 houses on former agricultural land to the east of Lansdowne Crescent in Carlisle.

If approved, the plot would consist of 42 two-bedroom properties, 43 three-bedroom homes and a further six four-bedroom houses, according to the planning application.

The application is being considered by the council's planning officers

The local authority said any representations about the plans should be submitted via its website or in writing.
