Congestion builds after crash closes A14 eastbound

The A14 in Cambridgeshire has been partly closed after a crash.

Emergency services were called to to the eastbound carriageway between junction 23 at Godmanchester and junction 24 near Fenstanton.

National Highways said, external all three lanes were closed and debris would need to be cleaned up once the incident was cleared.

Motorists have been advised to expect delays of more than 45 minutes and about six miles (10km) of congestion.

There have also been delays on the northbound M11 just south of Cambridge due to a lorry fire.
