A man was caught watching a pornographic video while driving a 44-tonne HGV.

He was one of 220 motorists stopped by Suffolk Police on the A14, A12 and A1, between 28 October and 1 November as part of a road operation.

Another person driving an HGV loaded with a fuel was caught smoking in the cab, which police said was "sheer stupidity".

Tim Passmore, Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, said: "The highlighted case of the man watching a video will shock people I’m sure. I am just glad officers were able to identify this madness and deal with the drivers accordingly."
